Default Will the heat damage my bags?

I've made a bag room upstairs in my new house. The thing is, upstairs gets warm very quickly in summer, possibly up to 42C or 108F. Do you think the leather bags could get damaged or am i being too paranoid?

extreme weather always do more harm than help on leather bags. It depends on the humidity also, if it's low, the most will happen is speed up the sagging/crease around corners if the bag is stored stand up (like your avatar), as well as embed dents on leathers that is in contact w/chains. However if it's humid also, I'd try everything to keep it at room temp to avoid molds.

I think the answer is clearly YES. The new house doesnt have central cooling so we're installing separate aircon units around the house. I dont think my fiance is willing to have one installed in my bag room though. My babies will have to stay downstairs in the master bedroom then. I'll just move my fiance's clothes upstairs. I'm sure he won't mind

Just wondering, then, how do ladies in the very humid parts of Asia (HK/Sg/TW,etc.) store their Chanels from molding or deteriorating?

I agree. Unless you can maybe leave a window open (but put up a thin screen to prevent dust/bugs from getting in) or install a fan, that room would be much too hot for a bag. Some bags have glue, particularly patent bags, and heat isn't a good mix with glue. GL!
