White Classic for the Spring

I am new to Chanel forum, but enjoy a lot reading the posts and the pics.

I am thinking of getting a white classic (either caviar or lambskin), but I am not sure which white and which chain are available for the Spring. I saw a post mentioned that there are matt and shiny white. As for the chain, I saw silver hardware without leather most of the time in store. Can anyone say something about the classic, esp. in white color (I know there are pink and blue, as well)? What white classic are available for the Spring? Is there anything new?

Thanks a lot! I checked the ref. library already, and am looking forward to see more classic pics.

Darn good question. Other than seeing the timeless clutch in white caviar, I haven't seen/heard of a true white for this year in the classic flap. The metallic white is not white but more champagne with green undertones. Check with Chanel 1 800 and/or NM, Saks, Bloomies to see what they've got coming in for summer.

Thanks, jmen, for the info. Just called chanel 1800. I was told that there are:
white caviar for cruise
and
black/blue lambskin for spring.

They have white lambskin for S/S with bijoux chain, but this is not stark white but more to off white to egg color. I know that some store have the classic white caviar with silver hardware (with leather).. this is what I'm getting for this season :)

I was in the 57th Street Boutique in New York and Bergdorf Goodman's last month and both had the medium White Caviar Classic with Silver hardware.

get caviar for the white one. just because its more durable...depending on how often ur planning to use it too...

im still looking for a med white caviar flap in GH. wonder if the cruise collection will have anything with GH.
