What'r your opinion about the Mademoiselle ligne? W/ Pics**

Dear fellow tPFers,

With my "already hopelessly long" flap wishlist, I happen to see these Mademoiselle ligne bags...they're quite like a "doctor's bag". (Thanks again to zoopla for the pics.) They are in shiny calfskin leather (not patent) with a mademoiselle rectangular lock and they come in violet, gray and black. What do you think? To buy or not to buy?

I've attached the pictures in the order of gray, violet and black. They are quite different from the bags shown in one of Savannah's thread which is a kiss-lock and I heard these are patent? I've attached 2 pictures of them too for reference (4th and 5th pictures)...hope Savannah doesn't mind me sharing them here.

Any opinions?

dont quite like the way the shape of the bag is, a little stiff? When I look at the pictures, I quite like the last one, however up close, it looks a bit complicated? With the straps and the handle bar. Would you end up carrying it or sling from the shoulder?

I was supposed to be receiving mine this week in viloet with the kiss lock, until I discovered the that the leather was shiny. Made the bag look tool stiff and conservative. I originally saw the pics in smooth leather. Well that's good now I am down to only 2 bags. Relieved. Large Sloane Square tote, and Westminster tote. Gotta be picky at these prices.

So you passed your violet kiss lock? Hmm...maybe this bag isn't really that good.

Anyway, I was interested in the Sloan Square tote too but then I've got too many on my wish list already. So, I passed. But do you know what is the leather like for the Sloan Square? Is the bag soft/slouchy or straight/stiff? Hope you can share your thoughts when you get your Sloan Square. Thanks so much!

the colors are cute, but im not a fan of the bags that have two straps, it does look a lil small but if you love it you should get it, the bag looks cute and different from other chanel bags also, I like that its different juz the 2 straps are my minuses (hand held and chain).
