I work at a store that they sell the bag. It's not too delicate.

I have the Westminster flap bag, and it's wonderful. I let the pearl part and the chain (without the leather intertwined) hang down in front of the bag and just use one strap to carry it. it's so gorgeous when you wear it that way...

I've seen the flap and it's really pretty (particularly the chains) but I don't like the way they did the CC lock, so it's a no for me.

I think the bag is very classy and a must have if you love pearls especially.

It's the only Chanel I truly loved and talked myself out of it thinking it was not practical-so sad!

Here are some of L. Lohan but I think she is usuing all of the straps- I would let the pearls lay on the bag the waylucky123 described if I had one

I loved the tote and couldn't wait to receive it. When I got it the leather was all wrinkled and had little dents in it from being displayed and packed in the folded position. I was planning to use it as a tote even though it was small, but it looked damaged when opened, so I had to send it back. I was disappointed. Honestly it was a beautiful bag, but it would have been nicer if it were a little larger. Very pretty details. I couldn't believe they could send a bag to me in that condition. Oh well, it was not meant to be. There is always something new to look forward to.

the westminster was the 1st chanel that i fell head over heels in love with.... i was going to get the bag but the sa lady told me not too cause she says the pearls may break from the bag. i mean i would be so scared to carry it and spending over 3,000 on a bag that may break because it is sooo delicate just didnt make me feel good.... lol so i brought a patent classic... hehe but yes this line is sooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!!! if u r careful with a bag like this then it will be great!

a friend of mine has the westminister flap and i saw it on her for the first time today. and the bag tends to be flimsy if u don't put alot of things in there. as it is the soft leather type. does any of this happen to u westminister pearl flap owners out there?
