Coldplaylover saw the expandable tote at the trunk show and said the large stitched threads look prone to snagging. They are also prone to fraying. I love the look of this tote but will probably pass for these reasons.

Fraying stitches and weak chain links... Oy vey.

This could have been a great bag for me... but I can't afford to take a chance because I like to really use my bags.

Can i ask something?

The navy lady baid looks totally different with the one released last year. What is going on? I am starting to get a little worried since i have ordered a "lady braid satchel" in black and i don't like this as the old one! Please help...

There is a lady braid satchel just like last year.It comes in black and blue. I'm not sure if there are other colors.
Lady braid is also available in that tote and the flap. Different stores ordered different styles and different colors.

Is it my monitor or is that expandable flap GREEN?
If you examined the expandable tote, is it a pain to get in and out of? It looks a bit like it has a drawstring on the sides and I just can't/won't deal with drawstrings.

That Expandable tote is beautiful...but I have OD'd on GSTs and don't need another tote, no matter how pretty. The chains do look a bit tiny for a tote that ladies tend to put a lot in.
