Default Summer Chanel Scarf Wardrobe *lots of pics*

So after perusing the Hermes scarf threads, I was inspired to try out the different ways one can wear scarves. While doing so, I came up with a few new ways of taking a 35" square Chanel scarf and transforming it into fun summer top with no pining or sewing and thought I'd share them with my fellow Chanel enthusiasts.

For reference I'm 5'9" and wear anywhere from a size 6 to a 10 depending upon the designer. Some of the styles are a bit ris-kay, so feel free to secure with fashion tape (my best friend) or layer over a tube top or bathing suit. Perfect for a beach vacation. Enjoy!

(My apologies if any of these have been posted before, I haven't found any thread like this in the Chanel forum yet.)

The 35" scarf:

All of the following variations use a 22" toggle chain (from a Gucci dress I have) as a way of connecting two corners of the scarf together. You can use a piece of ribbon, cording or necklace if you like. Here is a step by step on how to tie a corner of the scarf to the chain.

You will need to tie two adjacent ends of the scarf onto your connector as shown in the previous post in order to make any of the following styles, unless otherwise noted.

You may need to slide the knots up and down the connector in order to adjust the scarf for a proper and comfortable fit.

To make the knots stay in place give them a good tug. I have not had any problems with the knots releasing or sliding when using a chain or ribbon, but that may not be the case for you. So feel free to experiment with different materials to connect your two ends of your scarf together.

Here we go.

Variation 1:

1. Hang the scarf around your neck like a necklace with the connector on the back of your neck and all of the scarf in the front.
2. Take the two corners of the bottom of the scarf in your hands and bring them out and up to your waist.
3. Pull them around to your back and tie them in a knot.

Variation 2:

1. Hang the scarf around your neck like a necklace with the connector on the back of your neck and all of the scarf in the front.
2. Pull the sides of scarf around your waist and clip or pin together.

Variation 3:

1. Follow the steps for Variation 2 and add a belt! (This one may feel more secure due to the belt.)
