Bought some really inexpensive fun stuff just recently. Miguelina silk dress, 2 Nanette Lepore dresses, F21 creme/black dress, Francesca white shift, and 2 pairs of gladiator sandals form Bakers. Funny, I didn't know those gladiator sandals were much hyped due to SATC(please don't shoot me--never watched the series and haven't seen the movie)! I wanted the Dior originals but am leaving for a vacation in a couple of days and the Diors are backordered till either next month or Oct, depending on the color...so I accidentally found out in the glass slipper forum a couple of shoe brands came out with similar sandals...here are stock pics.

Do you own one or know of anyone who has?

I am a little nervous since I have never heard of her ligne before. All of the bags at Neimans were crocodile and in various colors. I couldn't believe they were so reasonable priced (about the same as a jumbo flap) for a fully exotic bag. I found a black patent alligator Chanel bag and it was $28,000. The SA is the one who suggest Nancy Gonzales as an alternative.

I know, that is what made me hesitate. I am just starting to collect Chanels (bought my first one two months ago) and probably won't get a bag from another ligne until there are more Chanels in my closet. Hopefully I can find an exotic Chanel bag that isn't $28,000. That is how much the black patent alligator bag was at Chanel.

Patent Croc sounds very charming!! Any chance to post a pic.?

Me? I like to stick with few brands, O.W. we are going bankrupt!! haha... I do have a friend who almost has at least 1 bag of every single brand..... Crazy!!

I think ldldb has some Nancy Gonzales bags. Check out her Chanel du jour thread and she models and discusses her exotic bags.
Chanel du jour with pics!

I did see some IRL at Neimans and thought they looked beautiful!!

cheapmommy - Aww, thank you!! I hope you snag one too (and I hope my PM info regarding the sizing helped)!

memyselfI - What a haul - LV style haha! What Chanel bags did you end up with?

Bri 333 - The dress is so pretty... great sunnies too!

scholastican - Girl, I love your loot!! NL is one of my absolute favorite designers, and everything else is so pretty ... ohhh, and the gladiators are hot (plus they're affordable chic, which can't be beat haha)!

Hey hey Minal! Thanks ever so much. NL's one of my faves too, everything she does is so flirty feminine. Too bad the Miguelina dress has to go back. It's an xs but is huge on me, boo!

Picked these up in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Louboutin Fontanete Python in Pink, and Miu Miu Vernice Peep Toe.

I also ordered some CL City Girl sandals which should arrive soon (in luggage) and a VC&A Vintage Alhambra 10 motif MOP in yellow gold that arrives tomorrow. Will post pics of those two last things later this week.

I'm Colombian so it's mostly natural, but I live in Southern California so it's also the sun. I don't worship the sun, but it's really unavoidable out here.

Are the Baker ones comfortable? I am thinking of getting ont too... How are they in terms of sizing?

Hiya S! The Bakers are actually cute. I'd say it's comfortable enough, as far as 4.5" heels go. Sizing differs for me only in the width, so it's true to size IMO. I got the tan in 7 and they are perfect. I had to get the black pair in 7.5 as they are sold out in sz7 everywhere, including online! So that pair feels a little roomier, but then my feet are on the narrow side(Ferragamos are snug and they fit me very well). There isn't much difference in length, and remember, the higher heel pushes the foot forward...Quality-wise, the shoe is made of leather, so for less than 10% of the Dior's cost I'm not gonna complain, KWIM? I do have to say the tan is super cute and the black kinda pales in comparison...but then I'm sure I wouldn't mind it at all once I wear them more often esp during winter with tights.
