I totally regret selling the speedy. I feel like I've "moved up" to Chanel, but I still want to replace the speedy in my permanent collection ...

One more thing this^ reminded me of... I know a lot of us think Chanel is a step up from LV but honestly I do not agree with that. IMHO LV is just as prestige and classic as Chanel but they do offer lines that are more affordable and happen to be what they are most popular for...... Dollar for dollar when you think about it though, in many ways LV can be interpreted as MORE expensive than Chanel, $1,000 for a canvas bag vs. $2,000 for an all leather bag is somewhat justifiable as I think it's safe to assume LV's canvas costs them less to produce than the leather Chanel uses, and even Chanel's material classic flaps are almost entirely leather (usually just the outer layer is material kwim?). And look at the cost of LV leather bags in comparison to Chanel leather bags, they are quite comparable from what I see.
So that said, let me ask you this, are you desiring to remove LV's and replace with Chanel only because you feel like it's a "next step", if so I wouldn't get rid of the LV's. They are still a solid classic and will stand the test of time (style and wear). If you truly LOVE the style and function of Chanel so much more than the LV's you have and you know you won't ever want to use LV again then get rid of them, but I think that's hard to determine for sure in most cases.....
