Reissues Questions

Hi-
I m new to chanel… and my next bag is chanel, black reissue… and I really want to see the pictures of whoever has 225/226/227 reissue… especially in black... with gold mm lock and gold hw… can you post pictures of it please? (and tell what leather is your bag…)

first question…. Reissues… does it has double flaps like classic flaps?

And 2nd question… what kind of leathers is available for reissues? I know they have metallic… what else? Caviar??

3rd question... anyone know how much they are right now.. in USD...
226?

but I am really torn between gold hw and silver hw on metallic black

arent there two different silver hws? cause i saw some diff silver hw in the thread... ones look very GREYish and the other ones looks so shiny, SILVERish... I like the shiny ones... is it the new silver hw?

Yes, the shiny silver hardware is new.

It REALLY stands out. (For the record, I like both!)

Now, Im torn between the shiny silver hw and the gold one for metallic black... :)

actually the most important thng is that i am already kind of torn btwn the reissue and the classic flap ...

what do you suggest?

(if i get a reissue-its black metallic... either new silver ones or the gold ones

if i get a classic med flap bag- its black caviar with gold hw...)

i have always liked the gold the best... but its hard to see gold with black metallic in the thread...

You should definitely go visit the boutique to see both the reissue and classic flap in person. This way you will be able to see the differences in style, size, and hardware. Nothing beats seeing in real life. Anyway, I'd would get both the reissue and classic flap as they are both completely different styles with different skins, hardware and looks. Sizewise, the reissue has more flexibiltity. Gold hardware is more formal whereas silver is more casual, imo. Metallic is more trendy. Hope this helps.
