Reference: Difference between the 2.55 & the Classic Flaps & other essential info

Hi. Does anyone know if they ever made the reissue in caviar leather? I am looking through this thread and I can't find it if this question has be answered.

The reissues have been made in distressed calfskin, suede, distressed metallic calfskin, and patent leather but none of them have that pebbled surface similiar to caviar.

The hybrid (m/m lock and bijoux chain) which is a cross between the reissue and the classic flap comes in distressed caviar. Look here for pictures. Just got my chanel med. red distressed caviar hybrid!

The SA at NM told me there were only 3 sizes for the reissues.
- small reissue (equivalent to a med/large classic flap) retails for $2450
- medium reissue retails for $2650
- large reissue (equivalent to jumbo classic flap) retails for $2850

The 2 SA did not know what I was talking about when I referred to sizes 225, 226, 227, etc.. I'm confused. Did it all change again?

The dimensions in term of depth changed, and they no longer name the sizes 225, 226, etc. The small reissue is equil to the 225, med is 226 and large is 227
