here we go again ladies, the battle of the month,

i found the jumbo red patent 08 is getting prettier and prettier thx to clkgirl, but i promised myself that i will only have 1 chanel red bag, aghhh and i already have a hybrid caviar med 07....please tell which one should stay???

i love the hybrid caviar med 07 because;
- i love the size where you can go from day to night, i can go from semi formal dinner to supermakets with this size, from dresses to jeans
- its the only caviar chanel i have, well except the white but it doesnt count haha
- and i loveeee the chain, something like bijoux chain but with tarnish finishes

i love the red patent 08 because;
-its soooooooooooooo prettttttttyyyyy i swear its super pretty maybe because its patent?
- i lovee when i look deeper into it, it looks like it has some transparent texture, i can see the veins of the leather but i has a transparent patent coating *sorry if i sound crazy*
- i am getting sick of the mademoiselle locks..maybe because last season i bought 4 chanels all in that locks hiks...i just had too much and start to miss the cc lock again.

ok please tell me why u guys love the hybrid more or the patent more, ow and should i get the MEDIUM patent or JUMBO patent?

minal: if you read this, which one is your patent? med or jumbo? and what are the 2 bags that u sold? *i read it from the other forum about this but i didnt remember which ones*

I would stick with the hybrid cavier. I am not a great fan of the patent, though I do think the color of the 08 is nice. I just like the caviar so much better.

I'd stick with the hybrid caviar. It seems to work well for you, or I'd spring for a new 08 bordeaux patent flap if you really want patent! (jumbo is always my preferred size but its a personal preference)

I say the Red 07 Hybrid Medium Flap......but then I guess I would because I have the exact same bag!

I love the hybrid Caviar leather - it is soooo puffy and gorgeous! And 07 Red is perfection

Hi! I have the Jumbo! I went with the Jumbo because the dimensions are ever so slightly smaller than the regular Jumbo's (it's not an overwhelming bag at all), plus I know I can get even more use out of the Jumbo than the medium! I'm also trying to create my "holy quarter" of red/burgundy Chanel's haha... my '07 red caviar Jumbo, '05 red e/w, Burgundy patent goatskin Jumbo, and I hope to add a Burgundy aged calf reissue (either 226 or 227) to finish it off haha.

I sold my Red/Bordeaux diamond shine flap (felt the color was very similar to the Burgundy classic flap, plus when it comes down to it, I prefer the aged calf burgundy reissue to the diamond shine). I also sold a dark red caviar medium flap, because I have a lot of medium flaps, and I would generally reach for my dark brown one over the dark red anyway.

The hybrid red medium flap is definitely gorgeous (I have a white one, and it's a fabulous bag!), but IMO, the wow factor lies with the Burgundy flap (plus as much as I love the mademoiselle closure, I would have to say that I love a classic flap even more). In terms of size, I think the medium could be more versatile (day to evening, etc.) so I don't know haha, you could always get the Burgundy patent medium flap! Good luck deciding... there's no such thing as a bad decision here!!

I think both are gorgeous. I have the red hybrid flap in medium/large, it goes with so many things, it's such a versatile bag. I love the patent one too, but you have to be more careful with patent, I always worry aboyt color transfers with patent bags, even dark colors.

I'm not a fan of patent, but that burgundy patent is SO gorgeous. I'm afraid of colour transfers on patent though. I have the hybrid in black and I know how hardy it is. Which do you think will last you longer through the years and which will you not tire of?

hi ladies, thank you so much for your kind help, i am still confuse, and even more stress after i read in other thread that for this fall chanel will release another RED REISSUE the same ones as the 2005....*just shoot me* here are my dillemas for this fall:
1. to buy the red patent or red reissue (the same one as 2005)
2. to buy the grey patent or grey reissue (once again the same one as 2005)
3. to buy the bubble quilt or not in hobo size?
haha seems crazy rite? please tell me what dillemas do u guys have for this fall collection?
