Default Question for owners of the modern chain n/s tote

I bought a modern chain n/s tote and on the top part where the chains attach to the bag one side seems to have one piece of leather that wraps around the chain, but on the other side the leather wraps around a couple of times. Is this how your bag looks, too? Thanks for your help!

Yes, pics would help. It sounds like you are saying on one side of the straps, the leather doesn't wrap around each link, so some of the links are plain chain - without leather interlace.
