I have 2 pairs and they are both missing rhinestones. And my sunglasses are only a few months old.

I have one pair with the crystals but they are swarovski and still sitting firmly in their place! Hehe. I have had these for about... 3 or 4 years now? I wear them quite often and they're in great shape! But then again these are sunglasses not eyeglasses... I guess it just depends??

My mom and I both have eyeglasses with crystal rhinestones, and they're each missing a stone or two. I don't think they'll send you replacements. Quite annoying actually... but I haven't had this problem yet with my sunglasses.

I have both the sun and eyeglasses with stones also. I've only had the eyeglasses about a month, but I've had the sunglasses for 2-3 years and neither are missing stones.

i have lots of glasses with the rhinestones and yes like everyone else said, they fall out. I am missing stones from all but one pair...sucks..
I was thinking of just going to claires or someother store and buying small rhinestones and finding what fits and what doesnt and just working it out...kwim

I have one pair of sunnies with rhinestones for years.....only one fell off though, But you can't really tell from afar because it's just too tiny to notice...I guess it depends on your luck :)

Over the last 10 years or so I've needed spare rhinestones for different things (or projects, like making my own rhinestone flip-flops when those were popular). There's a good, reasonably priced site:

You can get just about any type or size of rhinestone from them and they've got great tips on how to apply them (the teeny ones can be a major PITA but once I learned the 'ol "wax on the end of a toothpick"' strategy to pick up teeny rhinestones, all was right with the world ). It's been at least a few years since I ordered any rhinestones but the customer service I've gotten in the past was good, as far as getting feedback on how to pick sizes and which glues to use with which surface.

both chanel sun and eyewear have at least a one year warranty. and some have two. if you are still under it, they will replace the frame with a new one.

My sunglasses lost SO many rhinestones. I kept taking them back to the store that I bought them in (in Holland) and the guy there finally got sick of replacing the crystals so put on a new pair of arms. Haven't lost any on this set. Yet. Lol.

I have had a pair of Chanel eyeglasses for about three years now and once side is missing two stones. I got them at LensCrafters, who said they couldn't repair them unless I had the actual stones (as if I could see them on the ground, they are so small!!! Also, I have a pair of RX Sunnies that have the quilting and pearls on the sides and one of the pearls is missing. I asked my Chanel SA as Saks about them and she didn't agree with LensCrafters not being able to fix them. She told me she could send the sunnies in when I put the regular lenses in, they just can't do anything about RX sunnies.

You can also get the crystals from Sally Beauty, in the nail/manicure section. They are itty bitty enough to replace those tiny crystals. Can't tell the difference.
