Purple Prefall VS Dark Purple Fall

i heard that in fall act2 theres going to be a dark purple classic flap with silver hardware (not pewter hw). is that right? do u guys know about this? hows different between these colors.... Purple and Dark Purple. for me, i think purple in prefall is quite dark so...hows about dark purple?

I haven't seen the bag yet, but I saw the swatches, the fall purple is pretty dark. Very pretty tho IMO.

BTW, this is the exact style nos. for the upcoming dark purple if anybody is interested:

Color Code: 91608 Dark Purple
Jumbo: A40451 Y01480
Medium: A39336 Y01480

I have the prefall vintage lambskin purple. I still want to see this dark purple in Act 2. But my dream purple is still the 2006 purple!! Wish I didn't miss that!

Hi envazine,

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the dark purple. I want to see it too and see how dark it actually is. I think it belongs to Act 2. Maybe September will be a better time to see it IRL.

If it's dark purple, does it looks like eggplant?? I have the 2001 purple caviar but not sure if the color will be similar to the new purple in ACT II.

, seems to be sold out everywhere, so I haven't been able to see it IRL yet.

Are the pics I've seen on here pretty accurate on colour?

What a dilemma!

Carry on searching or wait for Act 2 with the silver HW that I prefer?!
