sorry bout that yes I did see this in person in the black and it was also very stylish and the straps on it were quite comfortable....very good choice and all the bags were stunning.

^thanks iluvchanel and thompk, did you gals go to NM at Fashion Island Newport Beach? Too bad I went on Monday and the bags were supposed to be there for the trunk show but Fedex lost the packages!!! So the bags got delayed and I couldn't make it today and yesterday!!! Anyways, I know Fashion Island NM is not getting grey, they will get like 5 blacks, and then 1 brown/burgandy, and like some white. But I know Chanel @ South Coast Plaza will get black and dark grey. So now I am on both waitlists in NM and SCP Chanel. Just going to be tough to decide whether I want a black or grey. I think if the grey is very similar to the reissue grey (and I have a grey reissue), then I will go for black this time.

Also, iluvchanel, did the SA tell you it will come in Sept? When I asked the SAs in both NM and Chanel nobody knows, they just said it could be here anytime.

hikarupanda, I went to NM in San diego. THey're are getting 3 in black & 1 burgundy & 1 off white. The stamping of the leather to look like alligator leather, would it look more realistic on a black? The rep told me it would be here by September or maybe earlier.

yea, I wonder whether the stamping will look more real in black...mmmm....interesting. But I think the silver hardware might look better with black? Don't you think?

i love it.. i think the best color will be bugandy, the color will show all the details of the leather.. black no.. it will look boring.

But I can use black with everything and anything, or even grey. have you seen the bag in person? In what color? I do have a picture of the burgandy in my computer, a TFSer took that pic for me in the trunk show. But the burgandy is a really washed type of burgandy and I am not sure if I like it.

yes you are right.. but for me i like to have different colors than black.. i dont like black bags..

I like the silver hardware on black very much & that's why I also chose black. The rep shows me a swatch of burgundy leather & look kinda washed out & I don't think it'll look right in croc stamped. It's has to be 100% croc leather in burgunday for me! However if you tend to wear shade of red lipcolor, it'll be very compliment with the burgundy bag. Anyway, it's so hard not to have an actual bag to compare with. I saw the black & fell for it right away.

I will post pics of the burgandy later when I get home, hopefully the TFSer who emailed them to me wouldn't mind.

I do agree, the burgandy color is so washed out it doesn't look right with the style and with the fake croc stamping I think. It would be much nicer if it's a rich deep burgandy.

This is the burgandy PNY pleated pouch. Pics are taken by a TFSer who was nice enough to email me those pics she took at the trunk show. The burgandy is washed out, which I am not too into. I think it would look better, more luxurious with a deep rich brugandy tone.
