I guess I have to see, touch and feel the bag and its leather to determine if it's worth that money, with tax it's almost $3000!!! I have never spent that much on a bag. The reissue was like hit my maximum...I wonder if this time I will set a new record again.......earning the title the newest most expensive bags in my closet!

hikaru, i'm with you- my reissue was my most expensive bag too. but this bag has such cool hardware and the shape is amazing!
i wish someone had seen this bag IRL and could tell us more about it.

Ha,ha...I understand how that can happen (making the leap) to the next price tier. Please post to let us know after you've had the chance to "see, touch and feel" the bag.

This bag is really nice. I'd love to see it in person especially in burgandy. It kind of reminds me of the stam bag but a younger looking version of it, if that makes any sense at all. As for the price, I guess it could be worse, and it looks like it's going to be a nice sized bag.

Hi everyone, sorry so late to respond but the clutch was $895. I think it also comes in coral or red, white, and a grey color. I could have sworn that when I was in the Las Vegas Chanel that the other colors were $850 for some reason.
Anyhow, I love it! It's so classic and timeless but manages to look modern. I especially love it b/c it's caviar leather. The interior is lined in leather as well.

I am so pissed. I especially took a day off (sick leave, hehe) so I can go to the NM truck show and guess what, Fedex lost the parkages so NM didn't receive the bags for today's trunk show and the SA said they will be here tomorrow instead!!!! Ahhhhh, I was so looking forward to see the pleated pouch in person!!!! Anyways, I also put my name down on their waitlist for it (almost $3000 after tax, still struggling....). Guess I won't see it till it actually comes into the store!

I saw the Chanel trunk show bags at Chanel but my friend said that the Neiman's trunk show had more bags! I didn't see any of those python bags everyone was talking about. Hope you see a lot of cute purses tomorrow! =)
