Default Patent Blue - what do we think?
Hi Ladies! I was craving to buy something the past week. Had a dilemma with this bag. Will i get enough use from it? Do we like it?

I tried the patent red, i love the colour, but it's just not me.

Please help! In advance, thanks ladies!

OP, is that a patent navy or a patent teal? I'm not a fan of patent, but if I were to ever get something patent, I'd definitely stick to the darker colors!

I have to admit, I wasn't originally drawn to patent, but i thought this would be my chic yet casual bag in rain and snow. Lol. Otherwise, I might return this and just get another balenciaga bag and rough it through rain and snow.

OP, as mentioned before, usually not a fan of patent(unless it's shoes or small pieces), but the marine blue is quite pretty! I actually like it! It reminds me of..winter and icicles for some reason..probably due to the blue and glossy sheen

I really LURVE this bag, I have a navy jumbo and if I could get another I'd love a blue patent flap. Deffo a kepper imo and it looks great on you.

Panda - thanks for staying on and your comments. Lol, icicle blue. That'd be a cute name.

Thanks Minnie, Pls5, Cammiy1

Can i pull it off with a dressy look? It's rather big for patent to be dressed up with it?

OP, You can pull it off with a dressy look, but you gotta make sure that the color of your ensemble coordinates with the blue...stick to greys, blacks, tans, whites, ivories..neutrals, meow! it's a M/L flap right? If it was a jumbo or a tote in the marine patent, I'd say no go with formal attire, but since it's smaller, I think it'd work. Work it work it!

I'll have to find a black dress and try it on next. Casual enough for spring/summer too? Sorry about the fuzz pic.

Ari - Thanks for stopping by here. Stop tempting me with H! Glad I have some approval. Patent is definitely tricky. In advance, thanks for your incoming pics for inspiration!

Love it, AD with your jeans and top. I really think that you must be so careful when wearing blue. I am waitlisted for a navy patent Cruise bag and I so hope it lives up to my expectation. If it looks as good as yours, I will be thrilled to bits. Enjoy your new bag! It is fabulous!
