Patchwork Rock or Classic 2.55

Dear all,

I bought this chanel patchwork rock flap bag yesterday, it's beautiful and roomy... but afterwards at home, I kept thinking maybe I should get the black classic flap bag instead (that was my original goal, I have never bought one yet)

The saleswoman told me that the patchwork bag is more practical, like a everyday bag and good for travel too. But of course when you put a lot in it the chains start to kill your shoulder... and it's not as timeless as the classic 2.55, which I've got to buy someday (everybody does) so why not now? The price just keep climbing! Even thought it's more for a dress-up occasions such as weddings and dates and nights out, it's classic, timeless, and it's like a diamond which is forever a girl's dream and best friend.

Anyway, please tell me your opinions, should I bring my patchwork bag to exchange? Attached are pictures, first two are the patchwork bag, the third one is a classic black silver-chain one I want too.

I think you should exchange it for the classic flap, after all you'v always wanted it. :)

I think you shld get it exchanged for the classic flap which is the one you truly want anyway. No point getting this and yet leave yoruself lusting for the classic.

exchange it because the way you express yourself it looks like you always wante the classic flap just like you say prices keep goin up, and get it now AND thennn consider other one. though patchwork flap its nice but it looks like you lovee the classic.

Go exchange it, if that's what you always want.

Buy the patch work bag if you have extra money, it looks good on you. I like casual bag like that too.

The patchwork is more of an everyday bag you can wear teamed with jeans and lounge around kinda thing. Its a slouchy bag you know.. easy to use and maintain for everyday but the classic flap is like it says, a classic flap.

It depends on your style... if your more of a classy type of person who prefers things structured then go for the flap.

Sorry don't really like the patchwork flap. Still prefer the classic flap, go for that!

Exchange for the classic bag, which is what you originally had intention of getting and like you said, it never goes out of style. These 'other' trendy bags are good when you have a quite a few of the others already. SA's will talk you into buying something they know is not *that* popular. I lost count of how many times SA have pressured me with the "you *have* to get that bag." Well, thanks, but hmmm, NO thanks! This always happens when I go for something they do not have in stock, then the drama starts that its like so hard to get, and the pressure is on to buy something else. Stick to what you want always and you'll never regret it.
