Opinion please: What should I get after trading off my metallic red 228?

I am going to sell my metallic red reissue 228 and get funding to buy another new love.

Although I have been craving for Chanel bags for almost one year now and I bought for more than 7 Chanel bags throughout this year, I still haven't included the black classic jumboinside my collection.

Many Tpers said that black classic jumbo is a must have and collectiable piece for Chanel lovers. I am thinking how come I don't have this piece in my collection.

I heard that there is another price increase in Nov. Should I buy this jumbo after trading my red reissue? Or I should get something else?

You do not need to have a classic jumbo to be a Chanel addict. And why are you selling your 228? That size in that colour screams "RARE"!!!

When I was locating this red reissue, I wanted to get a 227. As you said this color is rare and all sold out, so I got 228 instead. But I still have preference for a 227, so need to sell it out to get funding for another bag.

I know red is really popular. But 228 is really too big for me. I want to sell this and then get a 227 in same color if I have luck to see one.

I wouldn't buy a jumbo simply beacuse it is a must have piece. If it really sings to you then get it if not buy something more seasonal with your funds that you really love, a black jumbo can be found any time.

really hope that you can get the same colour in 227, its right that 228 is a tat too big. kinda looks like u are running away or something.

I think you really shouldn't sell this bag!!! I have it too and there's no way I'm selling mine! (The color's great,

the gold distressed hardware, it's hardy enough and doesn't need much babying...) Maybe save up a little, get a vintage jumbo - there are many out there waiting to be discovered.

if you dont like the size on this bag then just sell it, and get it in other size same color not sure if its that possible, but if you liek this color just change size, cuz i know how uncomfortable it is to have a bag that is not the right size. it doesnt matter how the bag is of special, if you are not wearing it, y keep it there.

so i would say same color other size, or jumbo flap or another reissue in other colors size you love.

I agree with the majority - the red metallic is to die for. I would not buy the black jumbo unless you truly love it. If you must sell the red, find something that you absolutely love.
