Need opinions! My next Chanel Purchase, Med or Large Flap??

Hello darlings!

I recently purchased a Vintage XL Jumbo flap, (my first Chanel!), and I haven't gotten it yet, but I am thinking of getting a Black Caviar Classic Flap with Silver Hardware from Bloomies this week! Yay! I NEED your expert opinions I am not sure if I want the MEDIUM or LARGE size. I want to use this bag for evening events, weddings, fancy dinners ect.......and I am not sure which size is best for that. Is the LARGE too big? I would love to be able to wear this purse during the day, but also be able to wear it at night, with a dress. I am not sure if the Medium is large enough to wear during the day. Opinions anyone? THANKS SO MUCH!

Congrats on scoring your XL Jumbo!

Haha, you're already on the hunt for your next victim, spoken like a true addict in the making!

I would definitely recommend the medium classic flap (the black caviar w/ silver h/w is stunning)!

It's perfect for formal occasions, but looks equally great dressed down with jeans, etc. I sometimes wear mine with one strap for a more casual look.

If you carry a lot during the day, you might find yourself cursing the lack of space, but the look of the bag more than makes up for the limited space (and gives you an excuse to purchase a cute card holder)!

IMO, the Jumbo is too casual for fancy dinners, evening events, etc., so for the purpose you want it to serve, the medium flap is the way to go!

^^ITA. Medium since you already have a XL flap. Also, Saks ECG event coming up so you can save ~$300 (well, not save, but get something extra). Good luck!

I totally agree. I really need a classic flap bag for evening events, weddings, dinners out, and the Medium seems like the perfect size for all that. THANKS for your help!
I should get it this weekend and I will post photos as soon as I get it!

Medium/Large flap will be the best choice if you are using her for dinner, etc. Btw, the next bigger size is actually Jumbo.
