Default Lambskin flap owners--does your flap curl up?

I carried mine for the first time today and the edges of the flap were curling up a little. I had to occasionally reshape them. I stopped in the Nordstrom Chanel boutique and the SA said she hadn't seen the new lambskin carried, but she gave me the impression that it was odd that it was doing that. It's pretty irritating for a bag that cost almost $3000!

Is this the thread you were thinking of? I searched flap curl...wasn't sure what other search terms to use!

Am I just picky?

oh god..I just checked my new jumbo caviar and the flap does curl up on the sides. It is not tooo bad but now it got me thinking if it is a defect too. I checked my medium caviar and it is flat. On my jumbo the bottom end is wider than top end. Now you got me thinking.....

I have quite a few flaps and none have this problem. Maybe it's a jumbo issue, because mine are all small or medium/large.

I've never had a problem with the jumbo caviar, but did notice it on one of my other chanel bags.

I have never had that happen on my medium, either! I thought lambskin might do this because it's softer, though.

i haven't had any curling problem with any of my lambskin flaps (the rose pink and salmon/orange glazed lambskin ones)

can you get yours exchanged for a non-curling one?

maybe when you are not using them you can store them laying flat on the flap side?

Hmm, no, I'm not sure what you mean by "curl up!" My black lambskin classic flap's flap just lays flat?
