If you want to see the straighter flap, just look at the thread with the girl that had that red vintage Extra Large Jumbo ...it's much straighter ...now curved ... So unfortunate that chanel doesn't make a great many styles in Caviar ... for those of us that require a large bag, there's not much ...

The XL really isn't that much bigger than the regular jumbo in terms of measurment. I don't think that will really make that much of a difference in terms of classic v. not. There are many other bags that I think walk a line between being too huge but the XL jumbo really isn't one of them.

I am thinking of getting the XL large jumbo flab and would like to seek your opnion on whether lambskin or cavier would be nice on XL jumbo

I like large bags because I carry I lot of necessities. Can't wait to see "the maxi"...its on my wishlist.

Hi, I wanted to know if the "THE MAXI" supposedly coming out in '09 around January will have the extra large CC's that are on the Vintage Xlarge Jumbo Flaps?

I called 1800 Chanel and they said from the photo, it's just larger but not as large as the Vintage CCs. Today I called Madison avenue and was told it's the large CCs like the Vintage Chanel's but that they photos they send of samples are not necessarily what the bags look like when they come in. Unreal!

Anyway, wondering if anyone knows someone who has dealt with Corporate or really has an answer to this question...
