Gorgeous purchase! I've always thought the reissue looked better with silver HW plus that's the one thing on my wishlist!

Can I ask where you got it from and how much it was? I'm still deciding whether to get the 226 or 227 size

It's antiqued silver. I can't remember what the official name is, but it's not a shiny silver.

Congrats on your gorgeous new bag! IMO this is the best bag ever! It's perfect for day/night, casual/dressy. I find that the 226 is the perfect size as well. Love it! We're bag sisters now (except mine's with GH). Can't wait to see your modeling pics. I'm sure I'll pick up a few ideas & start wearing mine that way as well. Enjoy!

I got it from the boutique in Toronto & it was $3325 + (a LOT) of tax (Canadian).
I liked how the silver makes it more demure...almost stealth like.

Astar - it's more durable than the lambskin (even the LS they had there looked bad - so scratched up, but it was a floor model) I'm not sure what it is though - anyone know?

Also, isn't the tax rate the same in Ottawa?
I don't really think about the taxes anymore since we've been paying it for years lol... it could always be higher and 13% isn't so bad considering we have it pretty good in Canada.

Great choice! Love the 226 size reissue. I have one in metallic black. To me it is the perfect size!
