I got way too many bags once I got the Chanel bug, but I still stayed away from jumbos. Nothing wrong with them. I just carry so much less than an average woman, sometimes I don't even bother to step outside with a bag. (I know how ridiculous it sounds when I'm a tPF addict with TONS of bags in my closet but that's the truth.)

Anyhoo, I always thought I would never need a jumbo, with its extra weight and size to tote around. (And extra $$ to fork over) Yet, I decided to take the plunge yesterday, sort of like a trial and oh my goodness! I am now officially a jumbo fan.

I'm sure everyone must know the hardwares of fall bags are much shinier than prefall. But just in case, here's a close up shot of HWs.

I personally think darker HW goes quite nicely with Miss Dark Green. But I understand how some do not share the same opinion. I didn't like raised CC too much when they introduced it for 08P, but eh... I think I'm getting used to it already. I believe my SA once told me they would continue to use these new CC locks.

I have two more little things to show ya and they are...

1) 08P brooch I got on sale




2) Robertson Blvd nail polishes. Lol!



As soon as they hit the online, I got all four colors. Aw... I'm such a sucker for these so called limited edition kind of things. I almost didn't go for the yellow, but shipping for four bottles was same as three, so I went what the heck. And in the end, I was a happy customer because yellow in real life was much nicer than I thought.

I'm currently wondering if polishes would truly stay as "limited editions." I know that's what they are advertising but aren't they also supposed to be exclusive at Robertson? If they really are one time thing, I think I need to stock up more.

Ahh, the turquoise Jumbo is beautiful!! Haha, I know what you mean... I have a lot of medium flaps, and more often than not, a medium flap fits everything I need... I guess I travel light! I so wish I could do lambskin, because the turquoise is really more of a teal, and right up my alley! Congrats girl, and enjoy your beautiful new Jumbo... sometimes bigger is better haha!

Minal, remember how I was hoping it would be truly turquoise, as in much brighter bluer kind of color? So when I saw pics of another tPFer here, I was crushed! I thought it was nice but it just wasn't what I was expecting when I heard the word "turquoise." Then I saw the listing by Personalshoppers and got intrigued again. Lol~

It turned out to be much closer to the pics in the forum in real life but interestingly, I liked it immediately. I guess one has to see the bags in person after all. It keeps coming out bluish no matter what I do but it's got lot more green in real life.

* I also got to see the dark green patent jumbo in real life yesterday!

Hi J! Yes, I remember haha. Ohhh, I saw that listing too and it intrigued me, because the bag looked so bright (must be the lighting she uses). Hmm, I love the pics I see of the bag here, and I really wish this beauty came in caviar! I think I'll hold out for the perfect shade of bright blue in caviar... but who knows if/when that may happen!

Ahh, green patent Jumbo?! Spill girl!!!! I'm still having a never ending medium v. Jumbo debate, but I've been leaning towards the medium haha. Do you think the green patent, coupled with the shiny silver h/w, is a bit much in the Jumbo size? Hmm, plus I already have two Jumbo patent flaps (and other caviar ones)! Would you say the color looked very much like this wallet (taken from the BG look book)?
