Hey girl! Ohh, okay. Hmm, well it's a smooth patent calf (no wonder it's so shiny haha), and aside from my black medium patent flap from last season, all of my patent flaps are more textured (either distressed patent, or the new goatskin patent). I'm beginning to think the Jumbo might be too much of a good thing haha ... especially if both have the same impact... the medium might be perfect (assuming I love the color in person)! Ohhh, I love the chocolate goatskin patent flap, but I already have caviar flaps in brown, so I bypassed that (barely)! I think the green will be a unique addition to my colorful family, but only if it's super fabulous (especially at these insane prices)!

It's just my opinion. I think it's the kind of bag you really have to see in real life and consider.

The good news is, now that I saw it in real life, I can say size won't really matter. Granted I didn't get to see the medium one, but with its vivid and bold color, I don't think medium one would be any less eye catching. I think you can wear the jumbo pretty well with your fab style.

Yup. I got it from BG. It's quite possible they either sold out or simply not have them on display. They often do that. You should ask what they are hiding in the back. Check out all the department stores too because sometimes they have better stock. Are you in Paris for a vacation? Have a fab time there!

Yellow is surprisingly nice! It's got this faint sparkle to it. Melrose is very Barbie pinkish but it has this gel like finish with super shiny gloss. I'm currently wearing it on my toes.

Ah... I don't have many flaps yet... But I'll take a family pic soon and post it here. One thing good about my "family" would be none are similar color except green lamb and green BQ flap.

uh oh, i need to take that bypass pill from Minal b/c yesterday i got waitlisted for the dark brown caviar jumbo flap that Saks will be getting (in time for their next EGC). it is really wrong to have too many brown bags, right ?

I'm taking a fashion summer course here for a month. It's been really exciting for me most especially since it's my first time in Europe ever! Plus I just got my first Chanel which is a brown caviar 2.55. But I LOVE your turquoise flap!! I can't stop staring at it!! I'll ask around here because I'm going to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette on Thurs. Maybe they'll have it in the E/W flap style

^^Hi L! Haha, well I barely bypassed it, but I have the caviar flaps in both medium and Jumbo (crazy I know, but I bought them both a while back and at great prices!), the dark brown exp. flap, and I might want the bronze reissue from Act 2 (despite the fact that I already have the dark gold, ahh). The patent goatskin and caviar are two different looks, so you're not crazy, you just love brown bags (like me)!! Hmm, but if you bought the medium, then they would be completely different haha.

Okay... I took more pics with my other bags, including family shot of my flaps.

First one is a size compare pic of a jumbo and Bubble Quilt hobo flap. Some asked me about size of my BQ before but I didn't have a classic jumbo till now to show ya.

As you can see, they are pretty similar in size, with jumbo being a little taller. But the opening of BQ flap is much narrower than its rounded generous bottom. So sticking in a long item is tough or impossible. It's got a very good sized back pocket though. I could pretty much carry all I need in that pocket alone. Lol~

Next up are the size difference pics of classic flaps...

E/W, medium/large and jumbo, from left to right.

Two fall bags I got so far...

A shot of the yellow and green family...

And finally the family shot! (with its "cousin" of metallic purple currently on a few day loan from my sis.)

Actually, I didn't have a choice. Lol. I waitlisted for both sizes and jumbo just happened to arrive earlier. My SA expects mediums to hit around next week or a bit later.
