How to become a VIP of Chanel and what are the VIP's privileges?

Just curious. I am in HK and know that anyone who spends HK$330,000 within a year will become a VIP for the next coming year (i.e. one year only). And a VIP can enjoy 10% off on bags and will be invited to attend cocktail party/special occasions for all new issues of collections or anniversaries.

Wah!! HK$330,000!!! I thought it's only HK$100K or HK$200K? Gosh....no wonder we can't buy those nice seasonal bags here which are limited in quantity!! Are you a VIP?

Oh...and doing my math, it's like 14 to 15 jumbo lambskin flaps a year!! Or 13 227 reissues a year!!

It's HK$350,000 and then to keep the status for the coming year you need to spend $250,000. But I thought the scheme has been abolished, as in Chanel does not accept any more new VIPs but it still honours it for the existing ones.

And Mia it's not that difficult to meet the requirements. You can always go for a syndicate...

I'm not suprised that you have to spend that much if not more!!! My gf's from HK and her mum spends sooo much $$$ there that Lagerfeld flies her (1st class of coz) to his shows in Paris... She has Haute couture growns made by him for functions. Her parents are in the socialite pages in hk~~
Wish I can take a peek into her collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably like the girl in this article I assume? Isnt it funny though it talks about Chanel, she's carrying a hermes( However the the ensemble look kinda weird IMO).

Gosh talk abt hermes, I saw a 16 yr old girl wearing a black 35 birkin while waiting in line for SATC and she totally rocked it!! She wore it so nicely like the bag complements her not the bag wearing her KWIM. Seeing countless picture and real life people carrying the birkin, she won hands down. So chic!!

The girl in the W Magazine article is Mr. Lau's daughter. 'Mr. Lau' is pretty well-known in our Hermes thread for buying Birkins for his gf(s), mistresses, actresses, etc. haha
Btw, there was a pic of Mr. Lau's gf (Yvonne Lui) carrying the 7k Chanel Charms Flap from 07 S/S.

i am with you. not only the outfit, her hair, and the overall look...just not there. no wonder they say money can buy fashion but not style. hmm,

i suppose you can hire a stylist...
