Default How structured is the Caviar Jumbo Flap?

Or is it soft? Will is loose it's structured shape? I want one and don't want it to become flimsy... Would love some insight from you caviar Jumbo Flap owners... TIA!

I have an 06 more rigid caviar jumbo and it is quite stiff and holds its shape quite well.H

My first is still perfect. I've had it for close to 2 years now. Mine is the old caviar though. If it is washed, it may be more likely to lose it's shape.

My older jumbo's are definitely more rigid than my newer ones. For the flaps, I think I prefer them more rigid. Although, the new ones feel amazing.

I think it also depends on how you use it. For example, if you tend to overstuff your bags, it will likely lose its shape more quickly.

Are you worry if the bottom will sag?, if so,..dont worry, it will not, I have both new and old caviar, yes new caviar is a little bit softer but not that much.

thanks graceful - yeah, i was worried about the bottom a little bit... but also the sides. I guess, i'm just concerned that it won't look nice after some wear.

My vintage flap is really rigid and structured. It hasn't lost its shape at all yet and Ive had it for awhile but I have two newer flaps and the structure is pittyful compared to my vintage.

^agree w/ you, and yes I'm saddened by Chanel's decision to change their Caviar leather which it was much more durable and shinier than this new one..but I know...I will continue buying their caviar leather...can't help it

what to do? for all of you who own 08 Flaps, what do you think? I really want a Jumbo, but don't want a sloppy looking bag in 6 months, you know?

I too have the 06 jumbo caviar and it is rigid, which I love. Definitely, my "go to" bag and has kept its shape beautifully.
