i dont own a gst but some pple say its heavy and too boxy at the moment of wear as in its not that practical as it seems, so i also suggest pst or ptt like they already mentioned on earlier posts.

I like GST especially the white with silver chain. it is a roomy bag -- great for everyday, u can put your lunch box inside :) i personally think that it look better when it is handcarry. it look even better when u have a medium flap (black or white or any color) over your shoulder

I own a black, silver hw GST and it's my only Chanel. I don't use it very often but when I do I don't put a lot in it because the purse itself is quite heavy. The strap falling off my shoulder does get on my nerves sometimes. But it's such a pretty, functional purse that I don't regret buying it.

I love my GST. For me, it is a great size as an everyday bag. The heaviness doesn't bother me. The straps stay on your shoulder much better if you cross them.

I bought the GST in the black caviar with silver hardware last summer and I have really enjoyed it. It is big, but great for days when you have any papers, resumes, books, magazines, etc. I was a little concerned about it being too big since I am petite, but I don't think it looks gigantic. My only negative is that there is not a zipper across the entire top, which sometimes I would like to have so stuff doesn't spill out (like on a plane or wherever) and I am always a tad paranoid that someone could reach in it since it is usually kind of behind my arm when I carry it. But, overall I really like it a lot and I think it is gorgeous!!

If you purchase one I have found that the best way to stop the bottom corners sagging is to stuff it after each wear and lay it on its side to help retain its shape.
Also what I tend to do as the GST does not close at the top is to take it's dustcover and fold it over the opening tucked into the sides, this stops people from being able to see what's in your bag and also if you get stuck in rain it's great to be able to just take out the dustbag and pop her in it.

It is a gorgeous bag and I have never regretted purchasing it

The GST in black caviar with silver hardware is my everyday/work bag which holds my laptop, make-up bag, wallet, iphone and keys and I love it even though it's a bit heavy but every bag would be with all my things in it. I don' regret it but as others said you should try it with all your stuff in it and decide for yourself.

I was thinking this morning, I have many other bags, not just Chanel, but other brands too, I think I reach for the GST more often for work than any other. On the weekends, I don't use it, it is too heavy for just walking around or shopping.
