Default Haute Couture anyone?
Compare to some of the most amazing wardrobes I have seen in this forum, I was wondering if any of us forum memebers have any Chanel Haute Couture pieces. I went to the 2007 fall Couture show with my mother who is a very faifthful client of Chanel. So, anyone?

Gosh I wish lol!!!

Infact, scrap that I do not even really wish it lol. While I can appreciate the amazing skills that go into every stitch, I would never ever pay that amount for a single item, even if I was able too.

I love Haute Couture, it is one of my passions! Don't own any though! I would pay the price if I could for sure! Does your mom have any?

My mom only has three. It cost her fortune but she loves them and wears them often. She has a knee length tooth hound black and white tweed coat, a wonderful ivory blouse made out of chiffon and silk, and a navy blue long dress with frillies.
But she is looking forward to getting more pieces since her b-day is coming up!

I have a few tweed coats and am planning to find a dress while in Paris. Wish me luck! Are you going to be at the Chanel S/S 09 on Friday?

Kara_n, I will ask if she would like to post some pictures.

AnayasMom, I won't be attening the show this Friday... so sad... but my mom will! She will be sitting next to Dida Blaire and Daphne Guinness or Becca Thrash. Maybe you will see her!

^Wow that's so neat she knows Becca! I always think Becca looks fabulous! She seems like a sweet lady too...

Can't afford it ATM. Besides, where I live, I wouldn't have many places to wear haute couture. Being a university student, it just wouldn't fit in my lifestyle. One day though I would like to own a tweed jacket.

I have several friends who own Chanel haute couture (day and evening wear) but no way I would be able to take pictures of it :( I love to admire it though when I'm over at their houses.. One day hopefully I'll own some.. I'm still only 22 so I have plenty of time :)
