I would say if you carry a lot then definitely the GST. If you don't carry that much, then get the PST. There is a pretty big difference in size.

hello. I got a PST and love it! Im 5"3 and 21 yrs old. I just think PST is for smaller and younger woman . Also, I dont like to carry big tote.
but if you like to carry tons of stuff then GST might be better.

I think GST is nicer. PST is cute though but probably not pratical.

I sold my PST. Am thinking about getting a GST for work. But I want to get it in a different color. I'm waiting for Chanel to come out with a GST in bronze/ silver/ or gold then I'll snatch it immediately.

Black, white, pink, and camel are a bit too boring for them. I have all these colors in the classic flaps.

I would say the PST since you are petite. I have seen some pics of people with their GST's and sometimes they look too big for them IMO.

Default GST and PST modelling pics please?
Can somebody please please post a modelling pic of PST and GST? I can't decide between the two! I usually have big bags, but I'm afraid that GST will be too boxy for me. My big bags are usually slouchy(e.g. LV neverfull).

Please please please, I need to see you gorgeous girls model your GSTs and PSTs!

I tried searching hundreds of pages here, but all I saw were flaps and clutches.

Thanks a lot!

Alot of people here do find the GST to be a boxy tote, but alot of others swear by it. Your best bet would probably be to go to Chanel and try them on for yourself.

I think both are beautiful. If you're a big bag person by necessity than definitely go with the GST if it's comfortable on you, because the PST won't hold many things the GST can hold. However, if you have your share of big bags and don't need to carry the world on your shoulder, the PST is a very nice size and is quite a bit easier on your shoulder weight-wise. It can hold a large wallet, keys, cell phone, make-up bag, and camera quite easily.

Oh, check out the reference thread as well for pictures of GST's- some people put modeling pics in there too. I think GST's are under classics there.

Let us know what you decide!

Default GST or PST!?
Helloooo there everyone :)
So, parents are off to Harrods this weekend, and I'm DYING for my first Chanel, I LOVE the Classic flap, but think I want it for my 21st in March, as I feel its more of a special occasion bag!
So, I was looking at both the GST and PST, I'm 5.3 and think maybe the PST would look better on me?!

Also does anyone know the prices for each (in £)? So I can tell my parents so they don't end up getting the wrong one if they agree!

Ohh I just can't wait to get my first Chanel (Normally a Mulberry girl)

Thanks guys!!

Gals, GST or medallion tote, which is cuter?
I see many people carrying GST but not many carrying medallion tote,
I am thinking about getting one for myself, it's difficult....
For a bag that you use every day, which would you choose?
