Default GST loose thread

hi ladies! Mods, please delete if topic is redundant. Though this has been discussed but not on a gst. anyway bought a brand new chanel gst from Saks and after i used it 4x (nothing out of ordinary) this is what i found.

Immediately called Saks and they replaced it with a new one and it came today. Look what i found on the new one.

Is this normal? am i being picky on the second bag. my concern is what if it will be pulled out? ohh i am just sad since i love the GST but now i am kind of scared since i don't want any loose threading on my new bag.what do you think?

From the picture you posted, I don't see anything to worry about on the 2nd bag. Its perfectly normal for you to be extra concerned after what happened with the first GST! Relax and enjoy!

And...if anything were to happen with that thread on this bag, I think you can count on Saks' customer service to have it taken care of.

I have a similar situation on my brand new jumbo caviar as your 2nd picture. And this was an exchange where first one turnlock was not aligning and a little leather had rubbed off. My second bag though not as bad as first just like yours has a lose thread which is pointy rough to touch and I keep fiddling with it probably making it worse. I do not want to exchange it as almost everywhere noone has jumbos. So, I know how you feel!!!! I am trying not to focus on that and trying to enjoy the bag. So try to enjoy yours as well.Good Luck!

thanks yoga, i will try to condition my mind and not think about the loose stitch.

vastare, thanks for your input. i will just say"out of sight ,out of mind" but i will talk to chanel SA and see what she thinks. my biggest hitch is we don't have a chanel here so i will have to mail this out just n case the problem gets worst. huh!
