Thanks for the fun facts. It is nice to carry a bag w/ some history. I don't own a reissue so now I want to go buy one. However, I got my first Chanel bags - 3 of them recently at the same time so I am on restriction. I had a hard time deciding.

Just reading about the Chanel story and I am enchanted! Never cared about Chanel until I saw the Lifetime movie with Shirley Maclaine in it. I AM HOOKED but cannot afford them.
They had them on Haute.com today but by the time I got there, they were all taken. The prices were lower than I have seen them. Very disappointed. If anyone knows where I can find a good used one at an affordable price, pls let me know. The Channel classic on Haute was 25% off!
