Default East West Chain

Does anyone know if the chain to this bag can be doubled up at all? Or is it too short to do that?
Thinking of going to buy this bag today. My DH will freak out once he finds out I'm buying another bag, but I've gotta take the plunge with the price increases around the corner. Wish me luck!

The older version, that doesn't have the back pocket, has a single adjustable chain. The new one that has the back pocket, has double chains that are not adjustable -- at least my pre-fall one doesn't. The e/w is lightweight, easy to carry in the hand or over the shoulder. (Good luck, btw)

Mine has the back pocket and one chain which is adjustable. That's my favorite thing about the bag. It's so great how I can lengthen, shorten or even remove the chain to turn the bag into a clutch. Unfortunately though it is too short and only has one hole on each side so it cant be doubled, but there are so many ways to wear the purse. It's amazing!

Default Chanel E/W Flap's Chain

I saw some photos of the black caviar E/W flap with the new bijoux chain, but I thought the Chanel SA told me that the black caviar is still only available with the single chain. Anyone have any info on this? Also, does anyone have a preference on the single chain or bijoux chain for the e/w flap?

No preference on the chain but the one with the single chain is detachable so you can actually use it as a clutch. The bijoux and double chain cannot be removed. The black caviar with the single chain is a classic so your SA is right. The bijoux and double chain are seasonal variations.
