Well, I can't possibly tell you all the stories of my Chanel bags.....you probably know why.

But I want to share with you the story of my very first Chanel bag which has a very special meaning to me. Not sure if you've read it before in other threads because I've shared this story before here.

Anyway, I started wanting my very first Chanel just this March when my DH went to Paris for his business trip. I have specifically asked my DH to buy me a metallic reissue in size 227 or 228, so, DH went to all the Chanel stores there but couldn't find any!!! The only sizes they have at that time were the 225 and 226 for metallic reissues, and the only colors left were the "bling-bling" gold and light silver. Then, DH told me on the phone, he actually bought me another Chanel bag. He said it's brand new from the latest SS08 collection and just arrived the store (that's the Ave. Montaigne boutique) that morning...fresh from the carton box!! The SA recommended it to him and he thinks it's very beautiful, so he bought it without asking me first. When I found out that he actually bought the coco puzzle patent reissue in black, I was not tooo happy because originally, I really wanted an ordinary reissue as my first Chanel bag (and I was too naive at that time to think that it will be my first and last Chanel...haha...of course what happened afterwards was totally the opposite!! )

So, my DH came back home with the coco puzzle patent flap, which is my 1st Chanel. It's very pretty indeed, but then, I thought I could use this money to buy an ordinary reissue instead, and it's a size 226 equivalent which is a bit too small for me. I was thinking of selling it....until......I saw something inside the bag which totally changed my mind!!

OMG!! My DH secretly put in a note inside the secret zipper compartment underneath the outer flap!!! I was so touched because DH remembered that I told him this compartment is where Coco hides her love letters!! And after reading the note, I immediately went to tears.....!! It says,

"It's destiny that I was able to find this bag in Paris and love it.
Just like it's destiny that I was able to find you to be part of my life.
2 destinies are both with us now....." (dated March 17, 2008 in Paris)

So, this coco puzzle has an extra special meaning to me. Today is our 2nd anniversary, and we are off to Paris this Saturday to celebrate it. I my DH!!

P.S. I just got my DH a Chanel tie and plan to give him tonight as one of the wedding anniversary gifts.

OH MY GOD..... Mia.... this is soooooo touching, super touching!! I would cry too if I were you.... you have to keep this bag for life, it's so meaningful!! I wish I would find a love letter in my Chanel one day too... :)

My DH and I are planning our 10th wedding anniversary for next year which will be a trip somewhere, without the kids . Problem is, I love shopping and he just wants to sit by the beach LOL!!!
