I'm looking for a Chanel wristlet that I can throw into my backbag when I'm out about with my boys. I could not seem to find it in the local stores. I did not see any picture in the References library. Do you own one or saw it anywhere? TIA

Maybe a wallet on a chain from chanel? I think that's the closest you come to that.. Or attach a little chain to a chanel cosmetic case?

Roxana - The wallet on the chain is a good idea. But I’m looking for a small pouchette so I can throw in my cell phone, driver license, lipstick, etc.

DeeDee - ITA, I love what Chanel has done for the cell phone and iPod, and can't wait for them to come out with more handbag accessory like a wristlet.

Chanel supposedly made these in black, silver, coral, and I *think* gold, in patent leather. (At least that's what my sister was told when she called them.)

When I went to the trunk show at Tyson's, I saw those strange ankle bags (sheesh! I'm already worried about lambskin bags and even if I were willing to wear an ankle bag, would I want it to get splattered with puddle crud?) Anyway, when I was looking through the books to find colors available for one of the reissues, I saw the "ankle bags" but they were called "wrist bags" in the book. Not sure if that style appealed to you but it's an option, I suppose.

Personally, I'd go with the Wallet on a Chain suggestions but I'm a WoC addict (up to three so far and a new one in red will be sent to me when it arrives). No matter how many bags I get, I'm finding the WoC most practical. Good combination of holding a lot but being small and hands-free (the chain is very long for cross body wear).

I don't *think* they have that hot pink one though. At least that's what my sister was told when she called 800 number when she saw it in InStyle. She said Chanel rep kept giving her infos she didn't like about that bag, including the price, which was higher than what it said in the magazine. I think it was somewhere around $11xx. She was the most disappointed they didn't have ones in that hot pink color though.

I think the silver and gold ones were out long time ago... And another tPFer said she saw one in coral somewhere (I don't remember where) in Shopping Forum.
