Does Anyone Have the Grey Jumbo in Classic 2008?

Hi Ladies,
Ok, I may not have the exact leather right but I was playing with the new jumbo classic in grey in i think the lambskin?? with the new silver hardware in the Chanel in Bergdorff's while I was in NYC 2 weeks ago and when I went back to buy it it was already gone :( Does anyone have this bag and have pictures? Also, is it totally sold out do you know? I need to decide if I'm going to go on a hunt for this bag! ANy help would be appreciated. Thanx girls.

Hi there, are you talking about the grey jumbo from pre-fall (which has a matte dark pewter HW and the bag is relatively squishier), or the grey jumbo from Fall Act 1 (which has a shiny silver HW and is relatively boxier than the pre-fall one)?

I saw the act 1 grey lambskin jumbo IRL yesterday and was disappointed. I much prefer the color of Mia's pre-fall grey jumbo. The act 1 grey looked very washed out to me and I was hoping for a richer grey. I'm hoping the grey calf 227 will be prettier, otherwise I'll end up with only 1 grey this season which is the grey patent jumbo.

I got this Grey Lambskin Classic (with the new matte hardware) in Paris 2 weeks ago. It is the biggest size they made for this bag.

yes just saw it tonight at HK Chanel, unlike the pre fall vintage flap, this Fall Act 1 flap is more like the Timeless Classic flap, more sturdier...

Hey girl...Not yet. The patents are part of act 2, so maybe late July or early August. I'm getting impatient. LOL, I've waited so long for a grey chanel and now there are too many to choose from. Thank goodness I've ruled out the act 1 grey lamb jumbo. I love the size, structure, and hw but not the color.

CLK- So the patent grey is quite a bit darker....almost dark charcoal right?

MissV- Yes!! It's A LOT darker and richer than the act 1 grey lamb jumbo. It's not quite as dark as charcoal and is more of a slate grey. I fell in love with it at the trunk show.

Ooooh I might be saved from the patent grey ( I was hoping it would just be flat out solid medium grey).....now if someone will show me a horrible picture of the patent burgundy and red caviar and I'll be good till next year...lololol

I think evilrolrol's grey jumbo belongs to pre-fall, not Act 1, because the HW is matte, not shiny. Act 1's HW is shiny silver. So, that's why the gray color in her picture is dark, just like my pre-fall gray lambskin.
