Do you carry your Chanel on public transport?

I have done on a bus and train but I don't think I would on the underground as its too dusty there

I've never taken my Chanels on public transportation...I'm too protective of my bags and don't want anything to happen to them.

Yes, I take mine on the train (overground). Later on at night, I might turn it round facing inside, though.

Yes. I take public transit quite a bit and I also walk a lot. It really hasn't been a big deal to me.

yes I do- imo it is a bag and it's purose is to hold all my belongings whilst I am out. I use public transport to get around (I dont drive). Hey If I'm gonna pay all that money for a bag it can come everywhere with.

Our only main mode of public transport here is the bus system. I personally am too afraid to take the bus as there are too many crazy people that I've ran into when I used to take it before. I always have this fear that they'll follow me off the bus... Anyhow, I wouldn't just because a Chanel bag will garner too much attention from a potential thief.

The one thing I can't bring myself to do is wear my Chanel flats on public transportation.

I do all the time, but I always carry a plastic bag to protect it from the train car "stuff" and rain. I always carry it on my lap in front of me, but just in case it were to drop it's in the bag! Also, since I tend to work rather late into the evening many nights so with the plastic bag I can put whatever bag I'm carrying away and not feel vulnerable.

heh ITA! i definitely carry my chanels whether i'm in a car, on a bus, on the train or tram.

very rarely since i'm almost always driven by DH when we go out but if we're going somewhere without much parking around, i take my chanels on train or bus.

Absolutely I do!! There is no need to take oneself so seriously just because you own an expensive handbag, shoe or article of clothing. As my father always said about his luxury vehicles when my sister or myself wanted to drive one "sure you can, it's only a car". It may be expensive, but it's purpose is to be used! Wherever and whenever in my opinion!
