Absolutely everyday! Whether it's the subway, the MTR, the tube, bus, tram, train. My bags go where I go. I don't hear any complaint from them, the bags, not the pubilc transport!

Of course! If I'm in the city, it's pretty much impossible to avoid the subway, train, or cab and I'm not leaving home without my Chanel just because I won't be in a car haha.

^ She means the same city so me too! Subway in NYC is the easiest way to get around with always back to back traffic. And I also carried my bags on the tubes of London & metros of Paris as well. What do you mean it's too dusty? I'm starting to think if I'm just too used to dirts & filth of NYC.

I've never taken my Chanels on public transportation...Only because the public transportation SUCKS here in LA and I would never ride it.

lol - of course - I lived overseas for years and public transport was my main form of a-to-b-ing!

The only ones I have ever been careful with on public is my white bags (but thats the case be they designer or not)

thats a great idea-- i was thinking about getting one of the "I am not plastic bag" from wholefood but i think plastic bag is even a better idea! i nearly got robbed one time with a chanel in Paris underground- ever since then i stopped carrying anything designer (expect my favorite Tods' cause these robbers dont really know the brand) .. but a plastic bag is a great idea!

Agreed! I take mine everywhere. Whether it be driving, walking, train, bus or subway! My Chanel's have been all around :)

Ha ha! And here is Miss Naive Norcal thinking, "I thought there would be more Chanels in LA than around here?" Then I remembered my husband took me around LA where he grew up and it was in the Islands out in East LA, not BH - scary place!
