TIPS ON FINDING THE HOLOGRAM STICKER:

1) Get a small flash light

2) Tell the bag to open wide. Trust me, you won't hurt it and is a simple and painless procedure.

3) Search for the lower left corner. For classic flaps, reissues, older timeless clutch and majority of leather lined bag, the hologram sticker is placed directly on the leather lining. For fabric lining (most but not all), the hologram sticker is placed on the lower left corner on a leather tab.

4) Seach the interior zip pocket. This applies to many styles including the new timeless clutch (a recent change).

5) If you can't find one anywhere, it was probably rubbed off or fallen out. This is acommon occurrence for vintage bags and can happen to new bags.

The older bags did come with white dust bags. I have a Chanel bag purchased at Saks in 1990 and it has a white dust bag.

I have noticed lately that there are several jumbo XL lambskin flap bags (Chanel) being sold by the same person. Her name is Mimiaction and she operates from China. I did not see her name on My Poupette as a recommended seller. Can anyone tell me if she sells authentic bags and if she has a good reputation?
