Early 0XXXXXX series hologram stickers (1XXXXX to 2XXXXX) did not include the '0' on the stickers; thus, they contain a 6 digit serial number. But the authenticity cards include the '0' in front of the serial number, making it 7-digit.

Hi! I hope this is the right place, now.

I started a thread a few days ago asking about Chanel's authenticity cards. Are they supposed to have a holographic/rainbow edge around them? (Rainbow when light shines on it, flat gold with no light.)

Yes, this is the same with my '08 S/S medium glazed lambskin classic flap. Maybe others can confirm this as well, I purchased my flap late March from Chanel Ala Moana in Honolulu. Here's pics showing screws and EP zipper:

Those are not phillips screws. The 08 glazed lambskin classics come with the 6-point (star) screws.

Thank you for posting this information - as i was about to post some questions/answers on "authenticate this" , especially on the Eclair,opti and 3 circle symbols which i see very often on the bags i sell (older Chanel models) and sometimes have difficulty convincing a prospective buyer that the symbols are authentic for older chanel models.
