Are you saying Chanel only uses YKK, and if not YKK, ask Chanel? Well, Chanel in fact uses Lampo, EP, and DMC, in addition to YKK. Vintage has DMC. Flox typically for the "female" snap button.

Chanel Care Booklets

Up to year 2000 - Chanel bags came with the glossy black with gold trim book style booklet (See first booklet below).

From year 2000 to about 2002/2003 - Chanel bags came with the black accordian style booklet with the mini black slip folder with a circular cutout showing the CC logo (See second booklet/insert below).

From year 2003 to present - Chanel bags came with the current white accordian style booklet in a small black envelope with silver lettering (See third booklet/insert below).

P = Printemp or Spring

A37590 = style number (prefix) - all you need is this number

Y04373 = part of the style number (suffix)

94305 = black color

NSZ = no size (one size fits all)

3572621322283 = bar code number used for inventory purpose in the Chanel Boutique and Saks. Department stores like NM and Bloomingdales use their own tracking system. Not sure about Nordstrom and BG.

i have some questions, it made me worry so much since i read this tip
because my chanel jumbo 13.5", the CC closure is stamped on the top right corner of the right C. as the pic below. so does my bag fake??
