Ok, I always hear of fear of color transfer on caviar bags and wanted to show b4 and after pics. I just came from spending the weekend in NYC (Im just across the river in NJ). Anyway, I only brought one bag and had a black wool coat and jeans on. I looked at my bag today and thought OH NO, cant wait to get home and clean her up! Here are the pics and a pic of the product I used as well. So use those bags girls! Enjoy em!

Oh wow!! Thanks for posting this, I was so nervous for you after seeing the first pic LOL! What a relief that your jumbo is now back to normal! May I ask where you bought the cleaner? This will save so much anxiety and aggravation should it happen to any other bags (especially a Chanel)!

I googled it and found some sites that had it and also bought some on Ebay. It works great though. My red jumbo looks great and has a nice lustre too it. Its not only a cleaner but a conditioner as well.

FYI Saddlesoap works just as well. This is just to show that there is life after transfer for these bags :)

Thank you for posting this Luccibag! I am always afraid of color transfer because I wear a lot of darker-colored clothing. I am relieved to see that there is hope, that the damage can be undone.

I've got a little dark spots on my red lambskin too, now waiting for my leathercare to arrive too.

I've read good things about Meltonian products in Hermes Thread.

wow ... what a great reassurance ... now I can happily hunt for all the light colour flaps :) AFTER I purchase a bottle of that magic potion!

I'm glad it work out well for ur red jumbo, i actually heard abt color transfer and did have such encounter b4 for my 07 red but ended up sending her to the leather professional shop to clean it for me.

In fact, it looks as gd as you. Great to hear that you managed to find a product that clean the leather, miracle does work...LOL
