little baby ~ I would recommend a black jumbo in caviar, because it's very easy to match, and caviar is very easy to maintain. Although I must admit, lambskin is gorgeous! It just needs a little more effort to care for. White is very pretty IRL too! In the end, you would have to decide because it would really depend on your needs.

jsg ~ I think the cerf tote is increasing too. I'm not sure exactly how much it would be after Nov 1st. Maybe the other Pinay tPFers have an idea?

both caviar and lambskin are really gorgeous...and any color would really be worth buying

the_lvlady is right, it will really depend on your needs. IMO, if this will be your first chanel, i think the classic black in lambskin will be a better choice...but then again, that's only my opinion. HTH

all aboard!! guys i have a question.. Im so scared using my lambskin beige just because it can really bad if its worn too much. Do you know if chanel repairs? and where??

Yes Chanel does repairs but you have to send your bag to the boutique. Repairs last for about 6-8 weeks, depending on the bag's condition. Good luck!

had mine repaired for a very little scratch. Got it back after 4 days. Bought it at NM in Short Hills and they took care of it.
