It would be in the 11 million series or 11XXXXXX.

Neither we nor Chanel maintains a list of serial numbers.

13 series - 2009 to current
12 series - 2008 to 2009
11 series - 2006 to 2008
10 series - 2005 to 2006

Hi! I knew there was a post that I read here somewhere about the year and serial number of Classic Lambskin flaps. Too bad they had to take it down. I am thinking of swapping bags with a friend. The thing is her Large Classic lambskin flap with gold hardware was just given to her. It comes with this serial number: 1782018. Can anyone tell me from what year this was? I really just want to know how old her bag is because the bag I will be exchanging it for was bought in 2007. TIA!!!

Can 2 bags of the same model have different serial numbers???

Today I saw a bag at Ebay that is just the same as one that I have, but it has a different serial #. Weird is, this model is quite rare, and no chances of it being a fake.
