Unfortunately there are too many SA's with a little attitude problem including

the ones at Chanel.. just focus on what you want and ignore the attitude

I just experienced a rude SA at the Wynn Chanel this weekend in Vegas. I was so irritated by it!!! I always want to say something rude back, but I bite my tongue. They work for Chanel, they don't own the company. Do they feel superior just because they serve the people who buy it? It makes no sense!!!

I do agree that the SAs in dept stores are nicer. Carlos at the Neiman in the Fashion Show Mall (Vegas) was very nice and helpful. I ended up buying a bag from him.

It shouldn"t matter how old, what we wear, the sa are there too make us happy, so why do they ignore us, we are giving them commission and a pay day.

Sorry to hear about your experiences. The Chanel store closest to my house is the worst. I'm usually completely ignored when I come in. No hello, not even a glance. I'm 21, though, so I think they just assume I'm not going to buy anything. But even when I come in with a Chanel bag, I get completely ignored. Then if I ask a question, the SA looks at me like I'm causing such an inconvenience.
That's when I walk out. If you're going to treat me like dirt, you're sure as hell not going to get my money. I'll keep looking until I find an SA who is actually happy to help.

gosh i hope not.

there's that catch 22 issue.
they're thinking you're not going to buy anything so for that you want to buy something but then that means they are getting sales....
