You can carry only a little wallet, a iphone, some keys, and few things like lipstick but it is great when you need nothing else, elegant, light, understated, versatile and RARE, I ahev never seen a baby reissue before, and hardly in the magazine:) I am 162 cm and I can carry it crossbody, shoulder with double chain or 'à la parisienne' (arms) or even as a clutch!
I tried to post some pix but they are always too heavy for the forum when I take them with my iphone it's too bad! If you want, let me your email, I will send you all the photo of my own!!

thats great reference shot. rare or not I am going to hunt one down...I saw the new 224's at selfridges in clair d'or - a sort of metallic bronze which was beautiful - but I think I need something I can use more casually like a navy or a grey - to wear with jeans.

for me its better than a JL Minauderie - I had a chance to get one but I prefer the 224, much more fun and youthful. Some minauderies are rather kitsch looking and very limiting to glossy events. I can't really see myself going for a casual lunch holding a shinny cupcake bag, whilst I could use this with jeans and or an evening dress.

yes its an interesting colour, it looks more like a dark silver mixed with a little gold. I think CHANEL does great complex colours like that. The one I saw was £2350 for the 224 size. It would make a great bag for the christmas parties on the horizon, but I really want something more casual looking. I dont mind if it is metallic, just needs to look good dressed down, as my lifestyle is pretty casual. will post photos when I locate one. New season colours will be in the boutiques before christmas.

I could not agree with you more! RARE, super stylish and under the radar - I dont think I ve seen more than one around and there are lots of expensive bags where I am. Classics in lambskin, jumbos caviar GST's and PST's thanks for the photos! I am posting them for you and will let you know how I get on...

I thought it has been relaunched. I could have sworn I saw one in the boutique a few months ago.

im pretty sure they are in too as my sa from the states showed me some pics for cruise and i cudve sworn i saw the 224 reissue
