Thank you! I think its more of a plum color. Its not as dark as a raisin tone. In person the color is much more vibrant than the pictures

I was SO tempted to get the burgundy caviar jumbo it hurt lol! But I also had just bought a jumbo beige clair so I could not get both but the mini is a great alternative!

I actually did not see it in caviar but I heard that its more brown in color in the lamb. The lamb looks like a rich plum color me. I am new to owning lamb so I was hesitant to go for it and thats why I was thinking about getting the caviar, but I think with the darker leather it wont be too hard to maintain.

Picabo you will fall in love with lamb, I promise! And yes, darker color will be stress free for color transfer issues :)
U have a unique color that's not everywhere :)

Omg... My first one with the loose threads came from Chicago... They had two and one was a display one and another in stock that was new and I was I supposed to receive the new one but who knows. Definitely follow up with your SA in Chicago!

oh gosh, go figure! I have yet to really be successful with a smooth Chanel purchase at the Chicago boutique! I love shopping in Miami and Vegas, in London and Paris......
