Which country has the cheapest Chanel?

I am just back from Dubai and help my friend gotta a black patent "jigsaw puzzle bag" (paid approx. USD 2,550 for it). It is so much cheaper there...

I enquired about the 227 dark silver reissue which i have gotten in Las Vegas last month and the price only works out to be approx. USD 2,750 (i paid USD 3,070 in USA!). Dubai is a tax-free country and every other model are much cheaper compare to Singapore and the States. However, i went to both the stores at Wafi and Burjurman and I don't get very good service. I think its just their culture, but well, for the price i can do with it.

unfortunately, i didnt get anything for myself.. keep blaming myself for not waiting to Dubai to get the DS reissue and i cant find anything in White that I like (tat's my next plan.. hee hee..)

So gals, if you are in Dubai or planning a trip there, check out their Chanel (in fact, LV are a little cheaper there as well).

My friend bought me a bag in Houston and sent it to LA for me. There was a small flaw so I brought it to the Chanel boutique on Rodeo drive to make an exchange. And I saw that the attached price tag of the new bag was a little lower, by $100. Have anyone ever countered this???

Wow, so it IS cheaper there in the long run because you save on taxes definitely...but at the same time...I don't know.

You have to count in your plane ticket, hotel, meals so if you're going you should go as a vacation and then once you're there just shop till you drop

I don't know. I have friends who live there so hopefully I can use my visit as an excuse to go shopping there too...

and you're right, the puzzle is about 3,099 in the USD!garrrr

depends on what you want to get. ebay can be cheaper on some bags but way more expensive for in demand ones although that means that ebay is probably the only place you'll find it.

I belive it's cheaper in Italy. In Venice, Chanel gives 14% tax refund compared to the usual 12%. Hope this helps. Paris in G. Lafayette.

The US. The value of the dollar is currently not as strong as other countries. Plus, if you don't live in New York, you can purchase at BG & save on sales tax.
