Not worth it unless the alteration is going one-to-two sizes down at the most. Too much of an alteration on one item and it starts shaping up totally different from what it is supposed to. Some Chanel items can be altered up as well, but only about one size up. My SA called me with some more items that he found were returned, you should call and ask if your size is around.

I didnt think Chanel made size 48. How strange. I thought the biggest sizes they went up to was US 12/14 . Size 48 is an US 18.

Yikes. Nevermind. I'm an solid 8. That clearly won't work. I was thinking the 48 was more like a 10. Oh well. :(

I was sure 48 is a 16, but I have not bought Chanel clothing. I used to work in the fashion biz, maybe sizes have changed
