Just got the confirmation Saks triple points will be 11-5~11-7, 6 month interest free for any purchase 2k or above on Major Purchase Account w/Saks<---you must be a Saks card holder to open one. For those of you have a shipping address other than TX, my SA can ship mostly everything in Saks tax free

Does anyone know if the Saks promotion or the NM gift card promotion is better? Both are offering 6 mos no interest. I'm not that familiar with the Saks point system, but i think the NM promotion comes out a little on top. Thanks!

I was just told by Damian Oto that the 6 months 0 int only applies to jewelry and furs over USD 2000... can anyone re confirm this with other Saks SAs? thanks

Last I heard Saks did not include Chanel - well prettry much all high end designers. Has this changed????

Saks does not include lease agreements/vendors for the GC promotions but, may include some designers for the double and triple points. You would have to check with the corporate office. Saks definitely does not include a large list of designers for their gift card promotions but sometimes do participate for the points/reward system which is a different type of promotion. I would always corporate and get a name of the representativel prior to making any purchase on their point/reward system.

Regarding which promotion could potentially be better NM or Saks it depends on a lot of factors such as your marketing level you are rated on the Saks and NM, or buying power (i.e., presiental, 4 points, 10 points etc...). It also depends on the amount of purchase. Saks reward points are calculated by multiplying your total purchase by 1%. I typically find NM a better promotion but, I would do the math, call corporate and check. Based on my past experiences, I would not solely make purchases based on a SA telling me that I qualify for a particular promotion only later to find out there were exclusions and you will not have any promotion honored by the corporate office.

I hope this is helpful. Unfortunately, I have learned from experience.

I know for a FACT that Chanel is included in the triple points promotion. I did get it last time around on a Chanel bag. For me it turned out to be about 18% in a gift card because I am the Platinum level, which isn't bad..

Just called my SA and confirmed:

MPA (major purchase account)-you can charge on the MPA as long as all day worth of purchase is above 2k. Including the Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Chopard etc.

Triple points apply to ALL designer purchases, except LV purchase have a max of double points.

the rules seems more straight forward than the previous promo lol. Will update if there's any news :)

Hi all --

Just got off the phone with a SaksFirst CS person and she also said that the MPA is 1 year interest-free for this promotion! You must spend over $2K to qualify for this. She also said that this coincides with Triple Points, but you must spend over $1K to qualify for this and that Chanel is included for both promotions.

My SA got the '10C Cruise red jumbo today and is holding it for me until the 5th!

I wasn't even planning on getting the red since I am holding out for the blue roi but I can't pass this offer up!
